Huperzia squarrosa

This is a living fossil plant, one of the most ancient living genera. Also, it's fun to pet! 

Huperzia isn't actually a true fern but rather a close relative. This plant boasts pendulous stems with a graceful demeanor. At the end of these stems hang delicate 'tassels'—the plant's unique way of producing spores for reproduction. It's a rare find and typically thrives best when mounted, as it is epiphytic. The Tropical Tassel Fern enjoys bright light and flourishes in medium to high humidity environments.
