Succulents make for extremely easy going plants provided that you give them enough light... but that's a big caveat! Because most of us don't have enough sun in our homes to really make succulents happy. If you, like many of us, don't have a window that receives four hours of direct sun a day, may I humbly suggest you let your new desert plant live outside? It will require extremely infrequent care and will be happy as a clam, provided it's protected from the absolute hottest afternoon sun.
