Moisture meters can be an extraordinarily helpful tool for both indoor and outdoor gardeners. This particular meter also measures PH and sunglight but i'll be honest that I only use it to measure moisture in the soil, myself. Most of our philodendrons, ficuses, etc like to be watered somewhere in between a 2-3 on the meter. Calatheas I tend to water when it hits 3-4. Monstera deliciosa I let dry out to 1-2.
Ideal for large plant, fussy plants, or really any plant you want to be ultra precise with. Use *only on soil* this meter does not work well on moss and definitely isn't appropriate for semi-hydro set ups like Leca or Pon.
