This feisty jewel Alocasia may be small, but it packs quite a visual punch. It has dark, leathery, pointed leaves and delicate, long stems. When mature, stunning marking on the leaves develop. Alocasias want to stay evenly moist and appreciate higher humidity if possible. If you're not sure when to water, err on the side of waiting. It is much easier to damage an Alocasia by overwatering it than by under watering it.
