'Calidora' upright elephant ear is an Alocasia cultivar with very large, attractive, tropical-looking leaves. The plant will grow 5-9 feet tall in a vase shape with arrow-shaped ribbed leaves that can become 6 feet long and 3 feet wide. Did someone say Jurassic Park leaves??
It can grow in full sun to nearly full shade outdoors, but indoors give it as much gentle bright light as possible. Right in an Eastern facing window would be perfect. It needs fertile, well-draining soils which should ideally approach dry but never get fully dried out between waterings. Cut back on water in the winter if the plant stops growing or dies back.
