It was a dark and stormy evening. A mysterious and beautiful Anthurium with No ID crossed paths with not one but two dark-foliaged fellows. An evening of passion ensued.  The result? About 100 equally mysterious seedlings are now happily growing and looking for new homes!

What we know:

Mother Plant is an Anthurium NOID, meaning we don't have an official ID on her. We know that she has a red/purple emergent with contrasting veins, a wide sinus, and a beautiful blue-ish hue, almost like a beetle shell.

Who did she hook up with that night? And more importantly... who's the father???  Here's what we know:

The father is most likely a Black Crystal Mag x Pink Wonderboy, bred by famous anthurium breeder Scott Cohen (pictured below). We give this plant a 90% chance of being the father.

However!! We cannot discount the 10% chance that the father may actually be a Zara x Michelle bred by Tezula Plants (pictured below)

Whatever the case, these little seedlings have strong roots, adorable little leaves, and are already showing the beginning of their inheritable markings.  We've decided to call them Anthurium "Fancypants"

Sooo pretty!

I got mine at the end of December and it’s starting to show the characteristics of the parents and it’s so pretty! It’s been consistently giving me new leaves and getting bigger each time. I can’t wait to see how much it grows.
