Ctenanthe burle marxii 'Amagris' is slow growing with pale grey-green, oval leaves and dramatic dark green curving stripes. The leaves are wonderfully offset by a deep purple stem and leaf underside.
Combine it with Maranta, Calathea or Ctenanthe Amabilis for an authentic indoor rainforest vibe. Keep soil moistened and keep away from direct sun.
Ctenanthe 'Amagris' leaves close upwards at night like other prayer plants. As with the Amabilis it is also commonly referred to as the Never Never Plant and Fishbone Plant.
