This fern looks gorgeous literally anywhere, and is hardier than its cousin, the Boston Fern. It has a beautiful, upright growth pattern and can actually survive inside or outside in the Bay Area. If grown inside, make sure and give it plenty of bright gentle light for best results. If it lives on your porch, make sure it's shaded from the hot sun! As with most ferns, this bebe doesn't want to dry out all the way - if you forget to water, you will find lots of little dried up fronds all over the floor!
