Naugahyde Philodendron or Pig Skin Philodendron. This philodendron was not described until relatively recently, P. rugosum is already on the “near threatened” list, and grows only in Ecuador. The odd texture and color of Philodendron rugosum almost gives it the appearance of a plastic plant. Such a neat aroid! It is a climber, with the leaves getting larger and rounder as it climbs.
