Philodendron hederaceum 'Silver Stripe' is a vining, patterned plant whose leaves look like much like that of its close relative, Philodendron 'Brasil', only with more variegation. Its elongated leaves are elegantly striped in the center with a combination of creamy yellow, silvery green, and occasional flashes of white on a background of dark green. Like all Philodendron hederaceum varieties, 'Silver Stripe' is simple to care for, quick to grow, and easy to propagate!

In my personal opinion this has to be the more underrated hederaceum cultivars on the market today. Easily as beautiful as the coveted 'Rio' and elusive 'Gabby', this sport and now cultivar of Philodendron 'Brasil' is only about 1/4 of the price of the other uncommon types! I highly highly recommend this beautiful, easy, low light tolerant plant!

Note Dec. 2023: More and more sellers are no longer distinguishing between Philodendron hederaceum  'Silver Stripe' and Philodendron hederaceum  'Cream Splash', and for that reason the two are  now often sold interchangeably. We are still attempting to distinguish between the two, but admittedly it can be quite difficult to tell them apart, especially these days.
