The Tillandsia andreana is a wispy, unique looking air plant which originates from Colombia. The Tillansia andreana air plants have compact bases and delicate, thin leaves that extend in all directions. The andreana air plant is rare in cultivation and a wonderful addition for any serious Tillandsia collector. These air plants will display blooms similar to the Tillandsia funckiana, though it is not a caulescent air plant - meaning it does not grow on a stem.Â
This air plant will want lots of good air flow and can be more sensitive to environmental changes (heat and cold) due to its thin leaves.
