Tillandsia xerographica is a species of bromeliad that is native to southern Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras. It is a slow grower and can tolerate less frequent watering than other tillandsia. However, it does need bright light! So allow it to get a lot of sunshine - even some direct sunshine is ok!
This plant has become instagram famous due to its gorgeous growth pattern that makes it look almost like a fancy, living bow tie!
