This plant comes with a cool story. The woman who discovered and classified this plant in North Vietnam (
Mary Sizemore) actually gave a cutting of her original plant to our begonia grower, and this plant is descended from that one! Although this species is more widely available than it once was, you can own a little piece of begonia history with a purchase of one of our two specimen plants. They are large, in deep 6" pots and their leaves are about the size of your hand. Really cool!!
