Tillandsia Funkiana No. 1 is an air plant that has a medium green foliage with leaves that lay flatter and smoother. Funkiana are native to Venezuela and grow long as opposed to wide. The typical adult size for a Funkiana is 4 to 8 inches long and up to 1 ½ inches wide depending on which form it is. Funkiana are an unusual type of air plant that has a fitting name. Sometimes they grow in a haphazard sort of way with twists and turns and almost curls. If left alone to mother and when the pups are left in place they will form beautiful clusters.
