A Pinguicula jaumavensis x cyclosecta is a hybrid butterwort with particularly striking, large, frilly purple flowers which it often produces in abundance. This is a visually appealing carnivorous plant for collectors, especially when compared to other pinguicula varieties with smaller or less showy blooms. It has also inherited desirable traits from both its parent plants, like its leaves which can blush purple under bright light.
