Calathea 'Dottie', is characterized by its rich dark purple leaves and bright pink markings. This plant loves humidity and moisture, it would do well in a bathroom and is overall an excellent houseplant for homes with lower light. For extra credit, water with distilled water... but it really isn't necessary if you live in San Francisco. Like all Prayer Plants, Calathea ‘Dottie’ is 100% non toxic and considered pet safe.
