Hi Jenni! Sorry for your experience. For some clarification, we state clearly in our shipping policy that orders may take up to 7 days to process. After that, you have the option to choose overnight shipping or 2-day priority for plants. You chose 2-day prioirty shipping. I'm not sure why the expectation would have ever been for overnight delivery but I'm sorry that was confusing and that your expectations were not met.
To further clarify, we shipped your plant within 48 hours of it being ordered, well ahead of our 7 day guarantee. After that, the plant left our care and went into the arms of USPS. I'm sorry that your delivery took longer than you expectd but certainly we cannot be held responsible for the USPS person's decision to not ring your friend's doorbell.
In the future, if you'd like overnight shipping, certainly you can order next time from a delivery site like Amazon, which can provide that for you, as well as cheaper shipping. A local business will never be able to compete in that arena. Where we can compete and where we hope we exceed expectations is in the health and quality of the plant that was delivered, which was not mentioned in this review.
