Carnivorous Plant Soil Mix

Carnivorous plants evolved differently than most of our houseplants and need a specific type of soil in order to thrive.  Our soil consists of organic sphagnum peat moss and perlite only - no fertilizers, no additives.  This is the nutrient poor, acidic mix your carnivores crave! 

Ingredients 

Organic sphagnum peat moss 

Perlite 

 Acidic rock

Instructions: 

Pour contents of bag into a mixing bowl.  Swish or stir ingredients with a tool if perlite and peat moss have become separated.  Add distilled water slowly and mix until you have an evenly moist mixture. You’re good to go!
