GT Orchid Bloom Focus Fertilizer

GT Orchid Focus Bloom is a complete, carefully balanced fertilizer formulated to support strong flower spikes, abundant buds, vivid color, and longer-lasting orchid blooms. Originally developed for the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, it provides the precise nutrition orchids need during budding and flowering without relying on the high salt levels found in many general-purpose fertilizers.

The Bloom formula contains all 12 essential minerals, with enhanced phosphorus and potassium to support flowering and elevated calcium to help prevent deficiencies, bud blast, and premature browning. It contains no urea, sodium, or chlorides, making it suitable for salt-sensitive orchid roots.

Use Orchid Focus Bloom when a flower spike or buds begin to develop and continue throughout the blooming period. It is suitable for Phalaenopsis, Cattleya, Oncidium, Paphiopedilum, Dendrobium, and most other cultivated orchids. It may also be used for Hoyas and other flowering epiphytes with similar nutritional needs.

How to use:

• Add 5 mL per liter of water, approximately 1 teaspoon per quart.
• Apply during regular watering while the orchid is producing spikes, buds, or flowers.
• For sensitive orchids or plants growing in lower light, begin at half strength.
• Flush the growing medium periodically with plain water to prevent mineral buildup.

Allow the orchid’s growing medium to drain thoroughly after feeding. Never leave an orchid sitting in fertilizer solution, and avoid allowing liquid to collect in the crown.

After flowering has finished and the plant returns to active leaf and root growth, switch to GT Orchid Focus Grow.
