If you are a romantic at heart, or just love the aesthetic of trailing leaves or vines, this plant is just the best. It produces long, thin trailing stems that have widely spaced, opposite, heart shaped leaves that are about an inch long and wide. The leaves are succulent with silver markings on the bluish-green upper leaf surface. The lower leaf surface is gray-green to purple. String of Hearts makes an exceptional hanging plant.
Best of all? It's drought tolerant and grows like a weed. Let the soil get dry and stay dry for a week before watering again. If you forget to water this plant for a month, congrats, you're doing it right.
