Sansevieria trifasciata ‘Spearmint’

Now botanically classified as Dracaena trifasciata ‘Spearmint’, this distinctive cultivar originated as a spontaneous mutation of ‘Wintergreen’ discovered in Costa Rica in 2017. Mature plants produce a relatively sparse rosette of three to five long, waxy leaves, allowing each blade’s grey-green ground, irregular dark crossbanding, and solid green margin to remain clearly visible. Its restrained architecture and unusual mint-silver coloration make it especially compelling among the many yellow-edged and dark green forms of D. trifasciata. US Plant Patent PP32,333
